Description

The building of the Sugar Grove Supply Company located at 221 Main Street was built in 1893. It later burned down around 1918 and became the site of Keck's Store. The new Keck's IGA Store was rebuilt in brick. For a time, the Post Office was housed inside the store, and all fire calls were answered on the phones in Keck’s Store. The building remains there today.

Advertisement reads, "W.E. Keck, Successor to Sugar Grove Supply Co. Groceries, Dry Goods, Hardware, Boots, School Supplies, Fresh and Salted Metas."

Advertisement is cropped from "The Ember 1921", Yearbook of Sugar Grove Township High School which is available under the "School Yearbooks" Collection.

A one-story addition was constructed in 1948.
